A Preventative Online Mental Health Program for Youth (POMHPY) is a free, six-week online mental wellness program for youths between the ages of 12 and 25 living in Ontario.
The COVID-19 pandemic amplified the already worsening mental health crisis among today’s youth. With limited access to mental health programs, many teens struggled during the pandemic with lack of social connectedness, physical wellness and resilience.
We developed this program with youth and each session is guided by youth facilitators.
Each week, you will work with facilitators to build wellness strategies in mental well-being, social connectedness and physical wellness through various evidence-based, interactive activities. These include sharing music playlists, engaging in low-impact exercises, and more.
